Kelley Blue Book Takes a Look at the 2018 BMW 7 Series
Recently, an automotive expert from Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com reviewed BMW's 2018 7 Series, observing that the brand's flagship sedan continues to offer athletic driving that outperforms its competition and also delivers the comfort and styling expect from a luxury vehicle.
The reviewer really liked the fact that the 7 Series features a display key fob that has a small touch screen that allows for remote control of the vehicle's security systems and monitoring of maintenance schedules, fuel levels and range. You'll even enjoy a Remote Control Parking feature that lets you stand outside the car and command it to park itself.
Each 7 Series model boasts its own turbocharged powertrain, making it easy to choose the one that best meets your needs. A 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder powers the 740i and makes 320 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, while the 750i is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 that creates 445 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The Alpina B7 xDrive comes with a 4.4-liter V8 that makes 600 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, and the M760i xDrive has a 6.6-liter V12 that generates 601 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, the 740e xDrive hybrid pairs a 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 322 horsepower.
